Project Description

Transplant Australia TV Commercials

As part of Transplant Australia’s 2016 ‘Gifted’ campaign, I filmed, directed and edited a 30 sec TV Commercial. As part of the production we conducted a series of interviews with transplant recipients focusing on the importance of organ donations and their participation in the 2016 Transplant Games, an annual event organised by Transplant Australia.

As the result of the well perceived videos, the World Transplant Games Federation tasked us to create another 30 sec TVC to be shown in Chicago during an International Rugby Game – New Zealand ‘All Blacks’ vs Ireland. The brief was to promote their initiative ‘Fit for Life’ by telling the story of Kate Phillips, an ambassador of the games, transplant recipient and inspiring athlete. Her achievements are truly remarkable. With a tight budget and an ever tighter timeline I managed to refine the script, shoot, edit and finalise the TVC in just 2 weeks.

In 2018, we filmed a TVC, featuring 4 Olympians (3 of them gold medal winners), supporting the cause.
